Thanks for the idea, replies and support from everyone and Michael!
I wanted to reiterate that I've had my controller for nearly a year, and it's made my life VERY easy. I truly enjoy it's simplicity in programming and look forward to utilizing more of it's capabilities very soon. I purchased it last year about this time for a "build" I was in the midst of, and had an unexpected move come up which forced me to sell that
whole "build." Hence the reason I've been using it for ATO, Dosing and temp. monitoring only
Well now I've moved, ordered
and received my sweet new AGE tank, and am ready to set everything up within the next couple weeks.
I look forward to receiving my new ATO sensor, and will definitely take Chads' advice to keep a spare on hand... not sure if I can do that with the controller yet ($), but I should.
I'm in the Electronic Sensing business for Liquid Level Tank Gauging, but in HUGE applications like silos and tanks in various markets (food, beverage, dairy, oil/gas, marine ships, etc.). I totally understand that no matter how hard we try, there will always be issues somewhere along the line - it's the nature of electronics in general. My biggest pet peeve is when I hear from a customer "
I need this yesterday, and we (production) are totally down without it!!!" My thoughts, and sometimes response, is "If it's that important, than you should most definitely have a spare on hand. A thousand dollars for a spare to protect hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of product is well worth it." Same goes for our systems, and any controller on the market IMO
