"K. Lob." is pretty cool so far, but I've only had him a week or so. As for personalities in a small tank, I really liked my peppermint shrimp. Sadly, he disappeared during a re-aquascape. The lobster so far is a cool replacement - I don't think there would be room for both their egos! The first 2 days I never saw him. In fact the BF gave me a rash of $h!t for buying a $35 critter we never see, but he has gotten much more curious and sociable. He knows that mysis shrimp come from turkey basters now, so when he senses it he comes right out to the end of the baster and goes to town. I feed him first so he leaves the other critters alone. Other than the incident with the anemone I haven't caught him harassing any corals or fish.
I have a standing agreement with my LFS owner that I can take him back (as long as healthy of course) if he gets too aggressive. Most research I have done implies they are reef safe as long as they are well fed so they don't feel the need to attack other inhabitants, but there are horror stories of strong personalities.
In a nutshell, so far I think he's awesome. He is showing signs of aggression, though, so I think it depends on your other livestock.
