Big CLAM

Had to share this. I recieved a e-mail from oversea and someone what to ship me a 32" Derasa and a 18" hippopus. Ya right as if I have room for such a clam. So if you have a 2000 gal tank and need or what this things let me know.
I personally didn't know they got that big, I have read that they reach 50 - 60 centimeters(24")

Going to write him back to see if he would send me some picture for my collection. I personally hope they leave it in the ocean.

I didn't even ask. But I had a guy contact me that has a 2800 gallon tank that is interested in it.

So I guess I will find out for him.

Wow a 32 incher that clam has to be 20 years old plus. Would be Great to see a picture.

Jim, he said it was 30+ years old. I have wrote and ask that he send me some picture if he can. Just would like such a picture. I can amagine a clam that big, yes 24" but 32.

When you come out here next week, the weather has been very nice, cool at night.
