Big Live Rock Problem

[Silverado]

I had some live rock in a tank in the basement curing. Had to go out of town for a week, came home and checked the rock.

For some reason new pump stopped working, not sure for how long.

Water is black and all the rock in black. Should I try and rinse the rock off, and try and save. Or is the rock beyond saving.

rinse, and start all over.. It will get very, very smelly. you should have one heck of an amonia spike though! lol

my water and rock turned all black at first even WITH the pump working...
