Big problem need help asap

So i was feeding my fish flakes and I accidentally dropped the bottle of food into the tank and now it's floating everywhere I tried removing it with a net but it barley did anything. Is this going to kill my fish? Is this going to over feed them to death? What do i do!?!?

Problem is certainly not going to be from the fish overeating but from the food itself decaying. Get a gravel vac and suck up as much as you can and monitor for ammonia. Water changes are going to be necessary for awhile.

Earliest you can tomorrow, buy a bottle of Prime or Amquel,. which can stop ammonia cold. Have you got a filter or can you make a pot filter (pump under a screen or mesh, floss above, all in a bucket, weight atop to keep floss in bucket) out of anything? If you have one with a potent pump or can make one, stir it up and keep it floating so you can cycle the water through a wad of floss or some sort of filter to get the stuff out ASAP. But it HAS to be no lackadaisical pump. Needs to really put the water through to do a good job, leaving not much behind.
