Big Problem/ Stupid Mistake

I am still very new to salt water and I made a honest mistake. I just bought a 5in rose anemone on Friday and it was doing great until today. i added a super buffer like i was told to do, but insted of adding it to the wet dry i droped it right into the tank. The rose immediately shrunk up and went into its hole. Its starting to come out but still looks very weak and almost a little burned. My question is , 1 will it live, 2 if it does will it look the same as it did, 3 and how long untill it comes all the way out. If you have any hints or can answer any of these questions please do. Thank you.

the first time i dropped in Bionic 2part my nem shrunk up. i also go worried but then the next day it was out and about. just relax, it was probably shocked a little

Re: Big Problem/ Stupid Mistake

BTAs are tough, so it might make it.

The question is why are you adding buffer to your tank? Saltwater is naturally buffered to the correct pH. If your pH is too low or too high, you have a differnet problem that needs to be addressed directly.
