Big problem with glorious new sump :(

In the market for a new sump. This thread makes me lean towards Trigger or Senergy. I want a plug and play not DIY. :)

I purchased the Trigger Systems Emerald 34 about six months ago and I couldn't be happier with the build quality and performance of this sump.

Thanks,
Randy

I researched this exact issue a while back and although I'm sure the two Weld on products you mentioned would, the product developed for this application is Weld on 40. It is a two part mixture that is very THICK and a little harder to apply but is what I used and it worked like a charm. Mixed and applied with a syringe not what you want to do with your free time but definately and easy DIY project. Good luck

i would tell AA that you want a discount for a sump that should of been fill worthy before they sent it to you.

did you ask if they leak tested it?

any updates?

Sorry, I forgot to update. The repair effort was successful. I ran some Weld-on 4 around the seam then a few hours later ran a bead of Weld-on 16. Let it sit for 24hrs then filled the reservoir. Let it sit with water just in the ATO reservoir for 24 hours...no leaks.

I have not bothered to call AA again to discuss reimbursement for my efforts.
