So..... I was talking to a friend of mine who is moving and he knows I have a saltwater tank, and he said I am moving back to texas the first week of december to help my mom who has some fairly major medical issues.... and I really don't want to move my 100 gallon set up as much as I will miss it, became attached to a couple of the fish and corals, I will simply set up a new one. He said I want you to have it, and we should move it tomorrow. I have 8 10 gallon containers for water, which I will put the tank water into, as well as a few buckets you will get also to put the several fish and corals and rock/sand in. I will get my company work van so we can move it and the stand/other equipment. Meeting him at noon, and we will start the project. This will be cool, I'll have my nano reef as well as his established system of 100 gallons. I'm going to go to the lfs when they open and purchase another 25 gallons of rodi reef water so it will be here when we set it all up this afternoon. Hopefully the fish and corals will survive the ordeal and 2 mile trip with temps in the high 40's here in Chicago. Pictures will soon follow once it is set up and running. Not looking forward to the several trips up and down my basement stairs, especially with the multiple trips with water, but it will be awesome once that part is over. I'll get to have my nice little Fluval nano reef and then the 100 gallon set up.
