A huge thanks to St. James and Geo for going through a lot of trouble to locate, obtain and donate three beautiful little Hippocampus Reidi seahorses to the Binghamton Zoo. They were initially unable to locate Reidis from their sources so they first attempted with Kuda seahorses so to their similar temperature tolerances, however they arrived small and wouldn't feed on frozen. They absorbed the costs since they didn't want to stick the zoo with these. They finally located the Reidis from a Florida based breeder and they held these to insure they'd feed on frozen mysis. This morning, they were kind enough to drive them down from Van Etten and I just introduced them to their new home. So huge karma points go out to Finnyas-Finn!!!
BTW, the main display looks better than ever since I replaced the old t-5 lamps and placed in a new configuration. All the algae is gone and even the sps look terrific!
