Good to know Kevin, how often do you run the cleaner? I figured every 4 hours or so. Your experience would be appreciated.

At first I attempted to run a repeating multi timer on my reef keeper lite. I was wanting it to run for 30 sec every 6 hrs however I had some issues with the programming. I was able to get it to operate for one cycle and not after that. I ended up having to program a non repeating multi timer that runs twice a day for the 30 seconds. This seems to still work great.

Now there was one issue I had right off the bat. It was really more of an issue with incomplete instructions more than anything. When I received the CL-220 the wipers were adjusted so loose that they didn't contact the neck. The issue I had was deciding how much contact these should make (i.e. how tight) this ended up being a guess and check kind of solution. I really didn't want to put to much of a bind on the motor.

i have a SRO 5000xt and i had to adjust the wipers also. it does a great job and so worth the price. i have mine coming on every 6 hours for 30sec as well. i can look up what i programmed my RKE to have this continuously for you if you like. send me a pm.


great start to a nice tank. what are you going for as livestock? doing alot of corals? i have the radion on my solana and its packed with sps like red dragon, bonzai, tierra del fuego and others and they are growing like weeds from the radion.
