bigger pump than MJ1200

I'm thinking I want to try a bigger pump than the MJ1200 in the rear of my JbJ 24Nano, any suggestions on what fits nicely back back there? Needs to be quiet and not too much heat. Also, has anyone had problems with intake not keeping up with outtake with a larger then 300gph pump in a 24?

You could try the Mag series. I' don't know about exact fit back there though. Haven't tried to put one in there myself. Do you still have the filter sponges in place? If those are out of there, you'll never have any problem with intake matching your output. If they are, better keep them really clean, or I doubt you could go much over a MJ1200!

yeah, everything is out and replaced with LR rubble, chemi-pure, and Purigen.

The smallest Mag is 500gph? Big jump, but I'm curious

Anyone try this out? I have a hydor flo that will help move the water around...I wounder if it will shoot out the top of the tank on the up rotation....

look at marinedepot.com they have the mag 1, 1.5, 2 that are smaller.
