okay, i just ran across this thread and it reminded me of something i seen on youtube.

I know they aren't reef tanks but when i first seen them i was in awe. these are hobbiest just like you and me. these aren't commercial aquariums at seaworld or some public aquarium. these are private tanks.

My vote is for Atlantis Marine World, I live 45 minutes away and get their monthly to see what has changed, an all around amazing display of what all public aquariums should be like.

I love that one mcliffy2. Really nice natural looking mixed reef. The eel vids are sweet. One heck of a build. I have always been curious why that South American forum uses and English name, "Reef Corner". Seems strange to me.

goofball310: Not really like us since they have money to burn, and some far less brains. The tank featured in that youtube vid IIRC actually ruined the house and had to be taken down.

Simple.....some names in portuguese are a little weird.....translating reefcorner to portuguese : canto do recife.
Reefcorner´s a better name....
And different from some other countrys that translate almost EVERYTHING to their natural languages ( Spain, Italy ), here we use a lot of original names and expressions, mainly in english.
Reef = reef ( portuguese = recife )
Fish only = fish only ( portuguese = aquario só de peixes )
Ans theres a long list of everyday expressions and names that we adopt the original, in english, or other language...
