So far he's devouring mysis. Any care suggestions - sand-bed, food, etc. I'm assuming care is similar to doliatus, but apparently there's little actual info on the rhodonotus.
Any idea what the adults look like? All I can find are pics of juveniles and intermediate stage females.
I saw this pic on several sites and some described it as a picture of an "intermediate phase female." Unfortunately I was only able to find this pic and several of juveniles.
He kinda looks like the juvenile peppermint hogfish i bought from petsware house a few weeks ago. The peppermints lines get darker when they become adult.
Thanks, but this a completely different fish. The adults of the other species in this genus look nothing like their juvenile stages. If he keeps this look/coloration I'll be very happy!
