Binding Live Rock Together

I am beginning to prep for a new 75 gallon and I was wondering what would be the best way to bind the live rock together so that they do not shift or tumble. I have been wanting a snowflake eel and the only reason I have never bought one is I am OCD about how my rock looks and they can move the rock around.

Marco mortar for serious aquascaping. Epoxy to secure small touch points.

I've found the product on the MarcoRocks website but they don't have any pictures of it on the rocks. Does this leave any ugly blobs of putty on the rocks or does it blend in pretty well??

The Marco stuff works great. Mix small batches, work fast. It sets up in minutes.

It looks like concrete. Grey. As soon as there is growth on the rocks - algae, coraline or other, it becomes invisible. If you are doing big unstable shapes like arches and towers, I recommend you add fiberglass rods (snow markers at HD) too. A masonry bit and any decent drill will do the trick.

Thank you!

I found it inconvenient the one time I cemented my rocks together. Anything that subsequently requires breaking them apart becomes much harder. My preference is to place the rocks together in such a way that they interlock and a few strategically placed zipties and epoxy putty blobs keeps things nice and stable.

Me too! Unless you are doing some rock art, I prefer gravity.

But hey, HB asked! :D
