Im on my 3rd day without power and im starting to lose animals. Not sure if its the lack of heat or the lack of flow/oxygen in the water, but...

My maroon clown and my elegance coral are the first priority... not sure they will make it another 48 hours.

After that its all the other corals. I've got a large hammer colony, large frogspawn, a nice tan milli, a tri color bonsai, a couple acans, an orange plate coral, a red goni (ORA), duncans, dendros, favia and more.

Stuff has to go before they they die.

Most corals still look pretty good, bit with no power in sight, time to bite the bullet.

First concern is getting them out and into healthy, functioning tanks... second concern is pricing and "selling" them... hopefully mods can give me some leeway?

Wow...real sorry to hear about this! Air stones or battety powered air pumps, couldn't help you out?

From the hurricane?

That sucks man.Wow.I hate to say it but anyone in sales would likely agree this is a bad week for most hobby sales. Its one of the last weekends for state/amusement parks, the state fair, people getting ready for winter and back to school shopping...ect..ect.

All I can offer is if you need to board stuff ,Id be willing to help ,of course free.I know we've never met but throwing it out there anyway. If you get in a pinch ,I can meet you today.Iv'e got the day off and wife &kids are in NYC ,know where near the flooding areas.
Ive got room, premixed salt in barrels and spare equipment.I could meet you in cortland or something if that helps.
Good luck with whatever you decide-Steve

If you can't find someone closer to home, I'll let you set up a quarantine tank at my place for the fish and can house your corals under the LED's in my frag tank.

edit: Steve is much closer than I am. I'd definitely take him up on that offer.

If I was closer, I as well, would offer my tanks as a holding spot man!! I am so sorry about this. I hope all of your stuff can survive man!! Fingers are crossed up here in Rochester for you.

If you can pick up I will lend you a small generator, rated at 3000, does 2200 easy. It a digital model that is electronics safe. Pm sent

Power is back on...

A VERY SINCERE thank you to everyone who offered to hold my corals, lend me their generator, etc.
