Hi,
I'm putting together a sump for a series of broodstock tanks. I've seen alot of sumps using the bucket of bioball methods as intro to the sump from the overflow. Is there a preferred method of how the water leaves the bucket? Should I drill a series of holes, or maybe prop the bucket up and put a bulkhead on the bottom so all the water from the bioball bucket has to flow through the bottom.
Do I want them submerged in water or should they be above the water surface with the water pouring over them?
