Hi I have a well established Biocube 14 that's been running on the stock lighting. I just picked up a used biocube 14 system that included an upgraded lighting kit from RapidLED. Long story short, my original plan was to swap the hoods, throw my old hood on the other tank and sell it. Nothing goes as planned, I ended up having to move everything over to my original hood. Anyway, everything is in and up and running.
The system includes 12 LEDs 6 royal blue Cree XT-E 6 cool white XP-G2 CREES and one dimmer that controls all.
My question is, where should I be running this setup on the dimmer? And how long should I be running them? Right now I have it at 1/4 turn up from off. I have to say the tank looks 100xs better than with stock lights.
This is my first jump into LEDs so it's all new to me.
