biopellet question

You need a skimmer with biopellets, or any other form of carbon dosing. The way it works is by providing carbon, which allows bacteria to grow in abundance, which then get skimmed out of the water column.

Would anything bad happen if I already have a reactor on the tank before I add the skimmer? Or should I take it off until I get the skimmer in a few days?

It takes weeks for the biopellet reactor to start working so if you're talking a few days I would go ahead and get it running. IMO

I would run a skimmer over a reactor on a nano tank. It can have unstable effects on such a small volume of water.
