BIRD'S eye VIEW

m do you have any pcis of where you placed your pumps... i got some tunze in mine and they stand out like sore thumb...

Patrick
Youre welcome to see the tank........drop me a mail! Thanks!!

J...............No picture bro. Yea, thats the bad thing about Tunze is too damm bulky. They do have the tunze rock. I thought of buying one but just no room for one, my corals are allover. I had a chance of buying cheap WB and again no room.

I didn't see it in this post but I would like to know more about your filtration, treatments and equipment, not to mention water parameters.

yep.... i am now using the magnets to hold them so i can get them deeper on the side of the tank... they work nice .. i did a little modification on them and removed some of the slits to allow more water to flow through..

on another off subject the eductors i have are pushing alot of water... i tried it with and with out them and man.... the flow is crazy....the water is cascading into each other in the middle of the tank and down... its carriing some large air bubbles...

if i remeber right your not dosing any supplements.. jsut the calcium reactor.. right... and that keeps up with your demand ... ??

J..............There is plenty of flow there. I have 2 sea swirls on top colliding all that flow w/ 6200 tunze, makes spirals and eddys. and all that corals are kinda floating , its all built on PVC.

I have no secret........SPG= stability promotes growth. One thing is missing in the mix, I just couldnt get my mag. stays up there before, 1200 -1230. Now w/ the addition of DOLOMITE in my reactor, BAMM 1300 1350 constant 24/7. I ran the PH a little low tho 6.0 to help disolve the dolomite.....................PEACE

Don't let the zeovit guys know that you are promoting Mg sucess with a cheap product! I heard that their $20 dollar mag suppliment is the only way that you can maintain stable Mg in your tank via a calcium reactor;) :D .

You need a bigger tank buddy!

I've got a ? for you menard. What do you do when your colonies start growing into each other? Do you just let them grow and see what happens or frag? I always wondered when I see the pics of your tanks, it never seems like you have any wars between acros.

my answer to this is more depends on the size. Frags U can not, one will end up dead. Colonies are more durable, just watch it . One will be the dominant at the end they would learn to share their common ground and live side to side. Montis. some are agressive towards acros. I have one which is encrusting sky blue, that one could kill acrorora if let it touch, I just keep triming.:)

J.....................Now we are in bissiness, $250 a quart? Perfect!!
