Birds nests problems

I would caution dropping your phosphate too fast. Take your time and lower it slowly. Your PO4 is high but not likely killing your BN. I would worry about changing your params too fast and effecting your other corals that are doing fine.

I will throw out a guess and say that your BN is not getting enough flow down low in your tank where it is.

I don't seem to get good results with salinity at 1.024. I would raise it some.

Hopefully it is just stressed and will come around soon.
 
interesting that this thread came back. the 2 birdsnests are gone, they died a few weeks after the last post i made. everything else in my tank is growing great and happy.

on the other hand i now have some algea growing since i have been trying new things out. have been getting some better coloration out of a few corals but some growth has slowed down since then. im trying to find a happy medium between growth and color. have not had as much time to mess with the tank recently either.
