birth of 2 builds totaling 30k gallons

We raised our first sweet lips to adult coloration and had to pull him. They sift the sand pretty badly as they get big and he was dumping it all over corals. So we got a new juvy about year ago. This one is soon going to change also. They get big!!

And for the life of me every females favorite fish in the tank and they think the most rare if you ask them to guess. Clown sweetlips.

It's amazing the differences in opinions from male to female... If you asked me I would say the peppermints hands down! Sweetlips... Please... or if your Ted it's the 15$ royal gramma... Don't think I will ever understand it

I think it really depends on whether the person knows the hobby or not. My purple pseudochromis is my most popular fish and it was probably the cheapest fish in my tanks.

Those are notorious Coral Eating Machines. You definitely don't want them. They're little damsel - like tank destroyers.
I'll gladly take them though, as feeder fish for this grouper I have. Where can we meet so I can pick them up, as long as we split the gas costs for me travelling.

Unbelievable Andrew !!! So many great adjectives to use for the fact that these fish exist and were captive bred (right?) And that you have some !!!
Best of the best of Luck.
Congrats.

Unbelievable! No problem.
You are among, what, one handful of people to experience these fish, and even less people who have multiples, as well as CB!
I'll be the first to say, I'm envious! And I don't often allow myself to be!
Fantastic. Please take tons and tons of pics and videos. All the time lol.
Be well!

Tank raised does not mean bulletproof but almost. We have had no feeding issues and they accept anything but we do use lots of Larrys but we blend it up smaller. We did have some bacterial infections. You can see one is still being treated in hospital tank with antibiotics. Foor some reason he didn't clear up as quickly as others or it was aggression or both. Either way they ate well through it all. Now we are siphoning all uneaten food daiily and keeping tank as sterile as possible while still being connected to main system

This is incredible - I honestly thought Ted was just being melodramatic but this is bigger than anything I would have imagined!

Anbosa we all have been like little kids in candy store for few months. Been real hard to hold this all in. The egg to healthy live baby ratio was apparently off the charts like in 80 to 90 percent range or something like that. Some Awsome combo of Karens care and some magic food and nutrition created this. We all thank all those involved for reintroducing this fish back to the hobby.great job Rufus Karen, Larry and all.... I hope one day to be introducing a male female pairr into my 14k gallon project. I'm psyched.!!! One of the biggest challenges so far in my reef history. I will keep you all updated.
