Does anyone here have a Fish that tags you everytime you put your hand in the tank ??

That includes Crabs, Shrimp, and Corals.


I have a 5" Clown Trigger and a 4" Niger Trigger that bite as soon as you stick your finger in the water. Luckily they have not broke skin yet !

Anyone have any stories ?

I use to have a maroon clown that would tag you out of no where and draw blood.. the bad part was he would only do it when you were trying to move stuff and then BANG out of no where he would tag you and scare the #$% out of me. then would end up burning my harm on the 400 watt MH when I jumped.

I have a Clarkii Clown that has broken the skin before. Her name is chubs and most of the time I chase her away with my hand. sometimes I forget and what a surprise its like being pinched when your not expecting it.

I have a Percula that hosted a powerhead. She would attack me anytime my hand got close to the powerhead. That made cleaning a chore. lol I had to move the powerhead out of the tank to break the bond. Luckily she was still juvenile and it didn't draw blood.

i thought that he tore someone in half when they tried to feed your tank.... and that he bit steve or chad in the face!

Funny I noticed yesterday that my clarkie is hosting in my 6" clam. The clam does not seem to mind him. But I hope this is just a one night stand.

I've got a false percula clownfish that'll bite if my hand is in the tank. I've also got a neon goby (that I just found again...yay!) that will perch on my hand. It's not so much the fish I've gotta look out for as the large emerald crab! I'm scared to death of that thing...he's vicious!

My sons tank has been getting neglected because of the dam eel that is in there. He hasnt bit me but has tried like heck to. Man i couldnt imagine if he got ahold of me. Anyone need a big snowflake?
