Everything I have ever read says to keep pH between 6.7-6.5. I keep mine right at 6.5 because I use zeomag to keep mag up and it requires lower pH to dissolve. Anything lower than 6.5 and your media may turn to mush and clog.
Same here. I'm shooting for the 6.7 mark to see what happens. I also read that you make an adjustment and wait for 12 to 24 hours to see the results and that's spot on. This morning the PH inside the reactor is 6.72 so it's still dropping very slowly. I'm hoping by this afternoon it will be low enough to start dissolving the media.
