Rogger and I both have black and white clams. We both claims that our own is more black and white than the others. Help us setting our (childish) arguement. :) Which clam is more black and white?

Rogers == more white
Chris == more black

to me... lol

great deal of mixture between both colors I would go with Rogers

But Chris if it matters any I like yours more

I am not sure what Rogers clam is but it looks to me that Chris has a true ORA black and white clam. I have experience with these clams and to be honest Chris has a perfect specimen , Nice clam Chris and its very rare

Chris's clam is the true original ORA clam that goes for $500 + no doubt, mine is one I found at a wholesaler and paid $25 or $35 not sure.
When I saw this clam I thought it was a very interesting clam, Specially since it seemed to lack any color, contrary to what is known as the "ORA white & black clam"
My comment to Chris at the time I got it was that I thought this way cheaper clam was more black and white than what ORA has marketed as B&W, however in no way I was trying to even compete with the real thing.
I had this picture from Chris's clam, and I based my observations on this pic. I do agree that on the pic shown above it looks a little more B&W than this pic but that was what I had to compare.

lol lmao u suure we r doing this LOL

I thought the same thing. :) I just got tired of hearing Rogger talk about how much more B&W his clam was then mine. Probably won't hear the end of it either. :lol2:

You guys shoulda posted in the clam forum. I'm sure you would stir up a hullabalou...

Both beautiful clams in their own right.

Roger's clam looks almost pale gray so I would have to say Chris is more black & white and has more detailed markings. Both very nice though..

the question should be which one has more black or more white, because they both look black and white.

Is more black desirable or is more white desirable? or is it just in the eye of the beholder.

I agree, dinner was awesome! Thank you Rogger! No such thing as meat overload though. I had steak for breakfast! :)

Chris's clam is indeed a beautifully colored specimen, but I prefer the long flowing mantles. My favorite part of clams!
