Black area?

I have a pair of small False Perc clowns that are showing a few black "spots" on them. They aren't spots like ich, but rather an area of dark discoloration. I will try and get a picture up later today. I noticed it a few weeks ago, thinking it would go away. It hasn't. It has gotten darker. Other than the spot the fish seem fine, they swim and eat normally. Is this an issue?

It is not unusual for clownfish that host in corals to get odd black marks on them. Are they hosting in something unnatural?

Nope. They aren't hosting in anything really. I have a small RBTA, but I think its too small for them to be interested in. Other than that they are usually hanging out in one corner of the tank.
