I don't think there's a difference. If your talking wc versus tank bred I agree with you. But the ones coming in from Australia at SDC weren't spectacular when I saw them. The color difference and size your seeing is how long the breeder is growing out the fish before selling them. Only thing though is the ones that were coming out of ORA had overbites and look like bulldogs. They haven't had them available since the beginning of the year I think. That's y theirs been an increase in price since the ones from TMC and Australia are more expensive.

oh, and another thing about the mouths. i bought two with orange mouths one colored up to black, the other stayed orange. so if you want to ensure color you may have to wait for his to grow out and last i spoke w/ morgan, his batches were still fairly young. but contact him and he can fill you in with full details.
