Black band on Monti fix

Hi All,

I've got a piece of Dr. Mac's Indigo Monti that has a case of black band disease. The progression is at what seems to be a stalemate and has been for some weeks. Is it possible to apply CA glue in a thin strip over the band, against the healthy tissue to stop it from progressing further? Or would it be better to simply frag out the healthy areas? I'd like to keep it together if possible.

Either solution should be fine. If it was mine, and large enough, I would just frag out the bad stuff ad pitch it.
