Black Bugs or some kind of FW ?

"Revive" - ing an old thread here. I recently began adding coral this week, a few different types, frags for the most part. One of my bigger pieces however is an orange eye acan brain coral, which I've noticed some little things moving around (look very small and white/grey with a little black spot)...this things are so darn small. I do not know if they are causing any harm..

The corals are all in a QT tank and had a 10 minute dip in Revive. Anybody else have any experience with this little mite looking things? They aren't worms, they are not red, or anything of that nature. I would like to know how long between Revive treatments I should wait, or if a Luol's treatment should be next. I will obviously do another dip, heck maybe even two, I would just like to know how long it should be when waiting in-between dips, and if anybody knows how to rid these things before I notice any damage. THANKS

If they are mite like (little arthropods) and you are concerned, a dip in some Bayer Complete Insect Killer will take them out.

What about an in tank treatment? I know we used to use interceptor to knock out redbugs back in the day . I've had some experience with tiny,"Black bugs" before.I heard that the formula for interceptor was changed a couple years back . Whay are people using these days as far as in tank treatments?

I have these on some of my acros. All slowly started receding/bleaching from the bottom. All, also sending out slime threads. Some longer-polyp acros not as affected. Treating with interceptor tonight.

interceptor

interceptor

Interceptor did not work. Killed everything but the bugs. Lost all acros. Waiting 3 months to see if I can starve them out.
