black dots on my clowns?

I added a few new corals to my tank about a week ago (Pink Frogspawn, Green Hammer, and some favites) and today I noticed that both my percs have these little black dots all over them.....

what gives?

Two possibilities, black ich (unlikely) or your clowns attempting to host in your new corals and getting stung. Are they hanging around any of them, specifically the frog/hammer?

I've had them for over 3 years....no host. Ive been away for a week, so I havnt had a chance to watch them.....but that's what I was thinking...that they are getting stung (by the hammer I believe, it's much bigger)......

Do they loose the protective coat over the years if they never use a host, or do they need to "build" it up?
