Wonder what the reason is for such a light inventory of Neptune Apex controllers. I've had it in my cart, waiting for this week, not it's all removed. I like MD, and order from you all a lot. This is a missed opportunity.

RE: your cart, we're not exactly sure why the item(s) in your cart are no longer present, but we'd be happy to investigate. Were you logged in when you added them? Last time I tried the Low Price Guarantee a few weeks ago, MD did not honor the low price match guarantee and the reason given was MD will only match if the price is "publicly" listed on the competitor's website, and MD will not honor low price guarantee from coupon codes emailed out by competitor. Since some competitor still do not list the lower price (or the coupon code) directly on their website but just email out the coupon code, I suppose MD still will not do the low price match for these?

As far as honoring only publicly advertised prices, that is a stipulation"”we will need proof in order to price match. Fortunately, most marketing emails nowadays have a link near the top that says something along the lines of "Are you having trouble viewing this e-mail? See it here." If you can provide us that link, we should be able to hook you up with the discount you're looking for.
Some companies try to get around the MAP price set by manufacturers by not displaying what you'll pay until, say, you're in their shopping cart.
We definitely would like another shot at your business. Please let us know know what we can do to win ya back.

I'm curious about this as well. IMO, when MD checks the validity of the coupon code at a competitor, that should be adequate confirmation.

I like ordering from you. Very informative and quick turnaround. However, price match guarantees are a pia to consumers. Much easier to order from a site, *** the coupon code and receive the discount. Look what happened to Tweeter.

We do our best to negotiate the lowest possible prices for merchandise so we can pass the savings along to you. We also monitor the advertised prices of top-selling products so we remain competitive. Some manufacturers enforce MAP on products, so there isn't a lot we can do there.
Back to your point: we understand this can be a friction point, especially if you're shopping online and don't really want to call to do a price match. At the item level, the process is pretty easy (just click Low Price Guarantee on a product page and enter the info). Matching a broader, whole-order discount coupon is new for us and we're always looking for ways to make the shopping experience smoother.
We want you to know that in the instances where we don't have the lowest price, we are certainly willing to match it. We will also continue working to offer the lowest price so you don't have to bother with price matching whatsoever.
