WRT the sales always excluding the big name products - isn't that always the case with most big sales (not just in the aquarium business)? You may not be able to get a deal on an Apex, but the fact that you can save 14-16% right now on literally thousands of other items is great. I myself will be loading up on RO/DI filters and bulk GFO because of the 15% discount AND $5 off coupon at BRS. That's a great deal for me. And whoever is purchasing a Vortech pump on Black Friday is going to save 20% via a rebate. That's HUGE for them, since they never go on sale.

I don't think it would. I'm looking for an EB4 myself, and tried the coupon codes for every site that I know of, and each time it said the coupon was not valid on the item.

99$ for 40lbs of pukani at brs. That's decent. Buy one algae free magnet and get one free. You could sell the spare on rc for 60 to 70% of the purchase price. Vertex omega skimmers 40% off. Decent.
