i have a black hippo tang
has any one ever seen or knows about them ?
and would u know a price range ? thanks

They often grow out of these colorations, FYI.

all the ones i have seen or heard about is they stay but get a little bit more blue on the bottom of them

The price isnt much different than a normal hippo tang. If you were trying to bank cause of it, you wont. Someone locally tried to do that and got shot down quickly.

worth about the same as a normal hippo...not really too uncommon

Definitely more than a regular hippo, but it will depend on the markings and size, etc. They will keep the markings as they grow, but if it is tiny it will/may get more blue as it gets bigger, but will stay predominantly the same color as the baby. Last one I had was 3-4" and whole top half and the head was black. I sold it for 250$ (wholesale).
