Black ice clown pairing

Hello I currently have a black ice clown paired with a occelaris clown in my 20 gallon. The occelaris is about 2-2.5 inches and the black ice is about 1.5 inches long. I want to split up the two and pair the black ice with another black ice that I have that is only 3/4-1 inch long. The second black ice is probably female because I have had it for a long time, so would it be okay to split them and try to repair them or would it not be good.

You can split them no problem, but pairing is not as simple as just putting them in the same tank. It will take time. If they happen to both be female there could be some fighting initially but these types of clowns rarely do any severe damage to each other.

Ok I'm sure the bigger one is male but the smaller one is female, will this cause problems because of there size, because I know that usually the bigger is the female.
