Black Ocl?

I was given a what I was told to be an Ocellaris clown many years ago. Around a year ago it changed color from orange to black with an orange face. Is this common? I've just refinished my whole tank, did a full overhaul, and would like to get a mate for it. It has been the only fish in the tank for about two years.

Yes, that's the way B&W O's age. Get a small B&W to pair up.

Thank you for the reply. I've been "out the loop" for so long and not too savvy with clowns. My forte' was SPS. Now I'm starting over and hope to keep Rose BTA's again in my 30 gal temp controlled VHO/MH tank. That is if the SPS bug dosen't bite me again, and I don't mean redbugs. lol
