Black Onyx ID

Hi folks, picked up this pair (not breeding... yet) of Black Onyx today and wanted to see if I could get some input as to if these are true Percula or if you think they may be a cross. Hand fed, tank raised and eat from the hand if you let them and hope I will eventually get them hosted and breeding. . Anyway, please see the blurry pictures below, if more clarity is needed, I can take more pictures. Thanks

Those look like Photon clowns, a cross between Onyx and Darwin. The eyes are too dark to be pure percula. Unfortunately many stores and breeders are calling them Onyx nowadays. It has gotten so bad that one fish store in LA area was selling Darwin clowns as Onyx.
Here's a pic of my female C-quest Onyx clown from a few months ago. She looks much darker now but the eyes are the same.

That tall dorsal fin and eyes were kind of telling. Photon's are those originally breed/developed by member Sanjay, right? I am definitely not dissatisfied with them or the purchase as they are beautiful fish, but I wanted to get the appropriate ID on them.

The eye color is similar to CoralAddiction Onyx clown.

Not full Onyx, maybe Photon but more likely Fancy Ocellaris clowns.
