Black perc and black sebea together?

Okay, thanks. I'll call him tomarrow and see if I can't trade it back in on something else.

I agree with Marina. Order from somewhere that lists their fish by their Latin name, and that actually knows how to tell one species from another. Live Aquaria is a good choice.

With all the wrong ID's in this thread, if I were you, I'd post a pic of the fish you have now. That way you can get a positive ID and make sure the fish you order is the same.

False Percula Clownfish - Amphiprion ocellaris

From this site:
http://www.orafarm.com/clownfish_species.html

ORAâ„¢ markets hatchery certified pairs of this species, as well as a melanistic (black) variant from Australia. Sometimes abnormal traits occur in culture that look different but are otherwise healthy fish. These include "mis-bars" with unusual stripe patterns and "stubbies" that are lacking the normal number of vertebrate in the spine. ORAâ„¢ offers all of these A. ocellaris variations.

I know the one I have is a black false perc or ocellaris. The pic in the link above is almost identical to the one I have. Only difference is mine is a misbar.

I went and talked to him today. He called the supplier while I was there and the supplier knew. He said they're really a mano or mono (I can't remember what he called it) veriety and if I want a tank raised black ocellaris they're 39.99. So he's giving me full credit back toward a black ocellaris.
