Black Polymnus Clownfish

Hey guys I just bought a huge Black Polymnus Clownfish(who also dove right into my blue carpet). And I mean its huge. Lets just say she likes to eat shrimp whole.

Anyone know where I can buy black polymnus juveniles or proven males that are at least 2 inches or bigger. I know that if I throw a little juvi 1-1.5inches in there it will become a meal.

My source man only gets them in at 1-1.5inches. I need juveniles or proven males that are already mature if there are any online or anyone local selling please let me know.

They are not that hard to find. I know Jeff's in Gardena gets the black polymnus in regularly.

Saddlebacks have 2 color morphs? I didnt know that?

Mine is weird...She has 3 complete bars a white edge and white mouth like a Latz?

I got its coloration in after I acclimated I didnt see it earlier?

Im still sure its a Polymnus but with a coloration I havent seen..

Yea I know they arent hard to find but Im searching for some big size fellers. They will become a meal if not die if I drop in a 1-1.5 inch clown with her.

I think Ill just buy a small one and put my specimen container to use.

Shes an easy 5 inches maybe bigger.

dude...ur anemone is HUGE already...that clown makes it look small... :impressed: that clown is too big for your tank...time for a 200 gall.

FINALLY....lol.

I have a pair of the those clowns. No one has ever been able to ID them for me. "They're just b/w percs."

BTW- I bought my 2 (as juvs, they paired) from Pasadena Tropica Fish if you're looking for a mate.
