Has any one ever used it and if so did you like it. I am thinking about using it in my new tank , and just was courious

Ive never seen anyone use just black sand but I have seen a mix of black and white and it looks really nice.

I used it in a nano cube for about 2.5 years. It looks really good for about the first 6 months to a year. After that it kinda looks more dirty than traditional sand does. Something about the black sand shows more funkiness.

I haven't eather and I wonder if its a reason for it but I think I am going to do it and will post pictures if I ever get un lazy and finish my stand

That sucks that it looks more funky but I think I am going to still give it a shot do they make it in a dry bag because I don't need it live or do I

My Solana has a mixture of B/W and I like It! Would do It again. I find that the colors settle If there not the same size grain as the finer sand goes to the bottom and needs stirring once In a while which I do anyway so go Fish...

Dang Dave I thought my tank was crowded, Heck I need to take real estate lessons from you. If I put stuff that close I always have stinging problems and lose stuff or damage beyond repair!

It's a matter of choosing what you put together. That acan/micromussa rock is completely covered now, during the day you can't hardly see any rock underneath.
