The fish is more than likely a rostratum x scopas hybird. They are more common than most people think, and are usually mislabeled and sold as plain scopas. $150 seems to be an average pricing for these fish.

Thanks for the info. I'm not going to get it, just curious. I'll never put a Tang in a 4' tank again, just got rid of my Yellow because of his aggression.
I currently have a rostratum x scopas hybrid. It is a very cool fish. $150 price is very good on this guy! How big is it? Mine is right about the 4" mark.
I'm now wondering if mine is one of these. It has a shorter nose than the one up above but the exact same markings...and he is alot darker than a regular scopas because I have one of those in another tank. When the cleaner gets near this fish he turns so dark he looks like a black tang.

It is likely a normal/full scopas. I have a very dark full scopas as well as the hybrid and a full rostratum. One of the large characteristics of the hybrid is the long nose like the rostratums.
