Black Spots

My five year old granddaughter was just visiting from England and I just had to take her to the LFS to pick out a couple of Nemos (false perculas). They are no win the QT tank and eating and "swimming" fine (if you can call it swimming :D ). The only problem is that the LFS kept their batch in the frag tank and they all had black spots all over them where they had brushed up against the zoos. Will these disappear (i.e heal) over time?
Thanks

its a 50/50 chance that they will or will not. i had a pair of false percs and i had a bunch of zoos in the tank that they would brush up aginst.my male clown never got rid of the spots but the female did.also it could be a type of parasite that the clowns have picked up from the old tank.iwould say you should keep the clowns in the QT tank for a min of 3 weeks.

The LFS owner said her own clowns were the same. All the clowns in the frag tank had spots. They are getting more in a couple of weeks so I may swap them out (unless I get attached to them or the spots disappear :) ). I don't know why they put them in the frag tank unless it was because it was in line with the front door and low enough for the little ones to see them at eye level. :(
