Black Thing on Zoanthid

I have a small colony of Zoanthid's and something is on the colony. It's shaped like a polyp but is black. I can't entirely tell but it might be growing. The rest of the colony seems to be doing fine. See picture. Any thoughts? Should I take action?

looks like a sponge or tunicate to me aka harmless filter feeder.. better pics would def lead to a more accurate identification though....:spin1:

Attached are a couple of more photos. It almost looks like a polyp but never opens and is black. It seems to be growing. The polyps around it open and look fine although they are losing space as this thing grows.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

From those pictures, my guess would be either a sponge or tunicate of some sort. No worries.

My guess is a sponge, just keep an eye on it cause sometimes they like to spread.
