i recently just moved from working at one lfs in town to another due to moral reasons and my new shop has a 3000+ gallon tank housing a 2 foot black tip reef shark. Myself and the new fish room manager have been concerned if he's getting enough nutritionally and are having a hard time finding any info on the nutritional need of black tips. Currently he gets a mix of squid, smelt and large whole shrimp once a week as well as krill and mysis when we feed his tank mates. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

cant help you but i'm just curious about how many feet is that tank?

Once a week sounds alittle light to me but the varied diet is good. Squid, shrimp and good marine fish flesh is a good choice. There are of course vitamins out there if you are worried about it not getting a healthy diet but you shouldnt need those unless you arent giving it a varied diet.
