Blackout Safety for Ritteri

I'm totally freaked out by the dino outbreak that killed my very awesome table sps. Wanna give a shot to a blackout method.

How long is it supposed to be safe for a ritteri?

Gonna wrap up the tank with black dump bags for 4 days. Is it safe?

What I think is that the anemone will move. I have seen Magnifica just inflate it's foot and let go and go sailing. This, need less to day, would wipe out your tank.
IMO, blackout is not a treatment option in treating tank with anemone especially Magnifica or Gigantea.

Did it ever happen to me? No I am too much of a chicken to do this to my anemone.

I've left my lights off for 3 days by mistake and mag didn't move at all. But a risky business, better off getting phosphates down and perhaps more flow

the phos by test kit is always 0, ro/di water tested tds 0

but i havent yet tested the organic phos--that is said to be taken by carbon

and the silicate--what i read says it also brings dino's

so i've changed the brand of gfo and carbon

I have 3 tunze and a mini wavebox so guess the flow is good
