Blackspot angelfish female aggression

I've got a trio of blackspot angelfish, one male and two females, all added a week ago. The past day, the larger female began violently chasing the smaller female. The small female is now hiding in the rocks and won't come out. It's this common, and does it end eventually?

Doesn't sound like it will end on a good note if left up 2 them ...may need 2 put the aggressive female n timeout 4 a few days...but that's no guarantee that she wont go back 2 harassing the smaller female. For whatever reason, she may have decided that she wants her out of the picture.

So, I've been trying to catch the bully in an aquamedic fish trap for a few days with no success. The female being bullied is still hiding and will occasionally swim out to grab a piece of food, but quickly gets chased back into the rocks. Since I'll be away for Thanksgiving, I'll need to wait before trying again.

Are there any stocking guidelines for blackspots? Like number of females per male for a given tank size? My tank is 320 gallons and I assumed that was large enough.

My tank is light to moderately stocked right now, so more fish is an option. Are there any fish that might help the situation?

How is the male acting through all of this? I am a little surprised by this behavior TBH.

I am too. The male will chase the dominant female just a little. It's nothing very aggressive, mostly during feeding. Otherwise, he's completely peaceful.

I finally captured the bullied fish and put her in the sump. She looks really bad, isn't eating, and has popeye on both eyes. What treatment will help? I read about Epsom salt, but have never used it before. I don't have a quarantine tank.
