Blackworm Shortage

Does anyone know why I can’t find blackworms. None at the LFS and all the places I’ve found online are saying they’ve suspended shipping until further notice.

There was a heat related problem at the black worm farm in California. They said they probably be ready to restart shipping in November.

Since I couldn't get from the lfs I placed an order in September but received an email stating the drought problem and they would start shipping again late October and asked if I'd like to wait instead of canceling the order. I agreed to waiting but the following week I received a shipping notice that the worms were shipped. I assume since my order was a small quantity they were able to fulfill it.
