I have no idea what is going on. My Blasto was perfectly fine two days ago. it was big and open. I was feeding it some mysis shrimp every few days. All of a sudden yesterday and today, the thing looks horrible. It looks like it is withering away. Its almost completely closed up. Everything else seems to be doing fine. Here are the params:
Ammonia, Phosphate, Nitrite - 0
PH - 8.0, Nitrate 5-10ppm, Calcium - 425

Any help is greatly much appreciated. Thanks!

mine do this every so often..I don't have any clue why,but will look dead one day..then the next.. never look better..give it a couple days..

I read somewhere on the LPS forum a while ago, that overfeeding some LPS corals can be very bad. Sometimes if a coral is fed more than it can handle, only so much food can be digested in a certain amount of time. The excess food with therefore, rots away before it can be digested, and kill/harm the polyp its in.

just food for thought. Especially since you said all your other corals are doing fine...

OK, today the blasto looks great again, so maybe it was just being moody. I will make sure I limit how much I supplement feeding in case that was part of the cause. Thanks!
