Speaking of crowded blastos...... I have a peice that is so crowded its ridiculous. We are talking at least 25 heads...at the very least and they are very very plump heads. Is it alright to just leave it be...i have never fragged a blasto and prefer to let this peice do its own thing if I can. I kind of need to stop feeding it PE twice a week as it is going insane.----I just realized that after saying something like this I am going to have to snap pics of it too,. which I will.

Yes, a Catalina Goby. The Wellsi is in my seahorse tank which I keep at 70-72F. That is the top temp range for these gobies. They'd prefer 65F.

With regard to the temp, both the Wellsi and a frag of that merletti seem to be growing very well in this tank at the lower temp.

i dont seem to have much luck with my blasto's they just seem to melt on me, One day they are fully open and looking good, then the just seem to melt overnight

i thought i would add a couple updated pics of my blastos...the purple center ones have got alot more green in them now...on of the frags from that piece turned almost all green

I just got a small blasto merletti as a free frag with a coral order and it hasn't opened yet. It's on the bottom of a 24 inch deep tank with 5x39 T5's that are 6 inches from the top of the tank. They are in a shaded spot. Should I be patient or worried?
