Blasto Show off Thread

Ok I was at the LFS on Saturday and I couldn't resist. They had a 2 head frag of blasto and I just had to have it.

Not the best pic, its in my frag system atm pending the removal of my canopy to place it in the reef.

This last shot (top down) shows a bit better the red and green along with the other frags I picked up the zoas and the acan. FREE!!

tried to find out how to post image but didn't see it and search doesn't work for me.
the colors are off due to camera ignorance (couldn't figur eout how to turn flash off.
the dark is more orange red

Anyone have any issues with blasto W. growing out then dying back. I heard this is something that happens pretty consistently.

It started at 5 or 6 heads, then went down to 2 heads. It had 2 heads for 5+ years and about a year ago I moved it to my 180 and finally started spot feeding it........... Now it is at 12 heads

Wow. Those are some awesome blasto. I have had good luck with merlettis, but not so much with the welsi. What do you guys do to keep the welsi long term. I would love to get one. I have a 75 gallon with excellent water quality, 2 175 MH lights, and med flow. Thanks for all the pics. You guys really inspired me and made me a little jealous at the same time. Wow again.
