THe sunset monti i have is looking a little bleached out. I have it situated at the bottom of my 180 gallon on a rock. I'm running 250w 20k radiums. I have a pink sandollar which is halfway up and looks great. Parameters are pretty solid, calcium 420, alk 9, phos/nitrates low but don't test. What do you think is going on? Maybe some corals are just funny, I went to my buddys house the other day a lot of his corals looked great except for meteor shower which was very light sort of bleached out. I don't really know what this could be, my other corals look pretty good?

It's been setup for about 7 months. I transferred everything from my 125 which was setup for about a yr. So I would say all in all about a 1.5 years.

My bleached out after I got it too, which was a bummer. It's just now getting the color back, slowly. When did you acquire yours? (I think that was the question before too) It could just be part of the process. Also if you are getting PE, than it's probably ok and will recover.

I would say the tank move and a new tank did it. Keep it low in the tank and give it time. Also you low your no3 and po4 are low but you dont test for them. How would you know if they are low, you need to test for everything once in a while. If I have a problem I test everything right away to check the water. We keep water not corals, when the water is right everything else falls into place.
