Bleached or Dyed?

The 150G is in the garage, we just need to get the pumps and plumb it. I'll start nagging Chris next week to get crackin. We're going to have a tank moving/set up party, anyone want to come? lol.

Good to hear. I feel good enough to purchase through them knowing they were willing to work with you.

I wouldn't exactly say he was willing to work with him. It was only after the issue was made public and he was getting bad press here on RC. Go check out their forum on here, he isn't exactly the best at customer service or at least the type of customer service I expect. It sounds like he did what he had to do to stop this thread from going any further south than it already has. I for one will never buy from EC based on this experience and other experiences by RC members. He knew good and darn well that the picture did not fully represent what the coral really looked like when he posted it. I appreciate the OP sharing his experience, but it is a shame that the vendor did this in the first place.

Trifecta!! :)

was that blue one sold as a hadonni? Looks like a gig to me. Not sure if it matters to you. Regardless, beautiful nems.

Pretty sure it's a gig as well...but the verrucae aren't definitive. It is on a rock, as it wouldnt plant in the sand (hence the gig). Have it in high flow, and the lights are low. So far so good. The Haddoni are snuggled right up without any issue which confuses me for gig though. Hmmmmm

But they're clear. I thought Haddoni had the capability to have clear, and the gigs were always colored? I have a purple gig in another tank, and the verrucae are purple.

in the pictures they look to have a slight blue hue to them. The tentacle shape and size is also a little different than a hadonni.

don't know about hadonni being able to have verrucae. Just took a look at my blue haddoni and can't see any spots. Still a beautiful nem for sure

The last picture L lower corner, I clearly see blue verrucae. It is clearly a Gigantea. Nice anemones

Interesting that it isn't having any issues snuggling with the Haddoni... Any thoughts? It's hasn't tried to move, and they all seem happy. How about a gigdoni? Lol

Thanks!

Yep, with the MPE-65 for the close up, and the Tamron, 18-270 for the others ( I think. Too lazy to get up and confirm the range).

And I'm a she, tyvm. :)- One of the few in this hobby....
Looks like you are a she with a lot of means. Each of those lens are more expensive than the camera. No wonder the pictures look nice.

It's not the camera, it's the photographer!! sob.... ;)

Honestly, I bought a nice body but not expensive, so that I could spring for quality lens. It's not about the camera body, it's all about the glass!! Although I hear the 5D Mark III may come out soon...
